HIFA (Harare International Festival of the Arts) 2013 started today. I had a relatively quiet day photographing 3 shows.

- Half empty – half full. A delightful comedy, well acted. Two rural Zimbabweans walk to the road to start a new life, share a dream and become friends.

- Miss me. Contemporary dance by a Swedish coreographer for a Tanzanian company

- Harvest of thorns – the musical. Not really a musical, it had no real story and did not work at all for me. It was far too long – a pity as the actors were competent. A good director was needed.

- Contemporary dance.Based on a Swedish story. Good fun, well danced.
